was 4 year old reserve champion of 1988/89 National Stallion competition. Regularly placed in national classes. He won at Arnhem and Almelmo; double clear round in the Nations Cup of Falsterbo and Drammen; winner of the Grand Prix of Groningen, vice champion of the Netherlands in 1993 and champion of the Netherlands in 1995.Calvados is bred from the best French performance bloodlines. His sireUriel has been leading sire for several years. His dam Gold Rose was 3 year old French Conformation champion and was one of the top horses of the French show jumping team from 1979 up to and including 1982.
