He shows a lot of potential, uses his back well, has a fine foreleg technique as well as remarkably well applied hindquarters. The international pedigree of Hinault consists in the first generation of 2 absolute top progenitors in the field of show jumping. Hinault's sire, Narcos II has won various puissance competitions and was the 1991 European Junior Champion.
Hinault's dam Datania is a very strong riding type with a lot of front and blood, good withers/shoulders, fine back/loins and a muscled croup. She was category champion of Overjissel in 1989 and descends from a lineage that has produced various approved stallions.
