In 1990 Silvio passed the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, where he scored especially good results for his jumping ability. In 1991 he won the 1b main premium of the Oldenburger breed society.
Right from the first crop, he presented top foals with 3 of them being top priced lots at the Dammer Mai sales in 1992 and at the PSI auction the filly, Stars and Stripes, was the top priced foal of all time. In 1993 Siegertyp was sold in Vechta for DM 20,000 as well as Sternstunde for DM 30,000.
Sire Sandro was a highly successful international show jumper. The dam Gelbkatze is by the chestnut stallion Gepard who thoroughly influenced Paul Schockemohle's broodmare band.
