Royal Kaliber Was Bred By Jan Lamers From Oss,Holland, And Was Born Under The Name Of Korporaal (Sire G.Ramiro Z Out Of Fiedonja, Voltaire X Stuyvesant xx). Kappler And Kaliber Won The Triple Crown: The Gold Cup, The Invitational With A First Prize Of 200,000 Dollars And The Aga Championship.

Jan Lamers, who is also joint owner of the world famous stallion Ferro, bred Royal Kaliber (studbook name Korporaal by G. Ramiro Z) out of the 1.70m. (16.3 h.h.) black mare Fiedonja (by Voltaire). Jan Lamers had little success with his breeding product Fiedonja. Fiedonja is out of the ‘keur’mare Adonja, by Stuyvesant xx out of the ‘keur preferent’ Sonja. Sonja, in turn, is a product of Frappant and the ‘keur preferent prestatie’mare Majon, by Frostwind out of the ‘preferent kroon’mare Carona.
