Jan Williams, of North Hatfield, Massachusetts set the stage when she imported the wonderful Rohdiamant son Rodioso into the United States after his stallion approvals in 2001. She campaigned her horse to magnificent wins at Devon 2001, New England Dressage Society and USDF awards thru third level. Known for his fantastic temperament and way of going he was well on his way to a fine career as a breeding stallion, bringing the Rubinstein/Furioso II lines to modern sport horse breeders of North America. However, changes Ms. Williams needed to make in her stable that would benefit her as well as Rodioso led to his acquisition by Pamela T. Pentz as manager of Rodioso Ventures LLC. The stallion will stand at Derby Farms in Woodinville, Washington. Derby Farms has been a leader in Oldenburg breeding in the Pacific Northwest for almost 20 years. The moving of Rubigon back to Germany in the spring of 2004 left a horrible gap in the breeding community in the Pacific Northwest. Derby Farms is more than thrilled to step up to the plate and fill this gap with this fine young stallion. We cannot thank Jan Williams enough for giving us this wonderful opportunity and only hope that the success we know Rodioso will bring our farm will make her as proud as we know he will make us.
Thank you Jan, and welcome Rodioso to Derby Farms, Woodinville, Washington.
