The licensed Hanoverian stallion Bernstein has been sold to Yvonne Losos de Muniz of the Dominican Republic. Bernstein made great fame as a young horse by placing 7th under Morten Thomsen in the 6-year old division at the 2002 World Young Horse Championships in Verden. The chestnut Hanoverian, who is also licensed for the Danish Warmblood society, is by Banditentraum x Winterwald x Aristokrat.

At the 2000 Danish warmblood stallion approval, Bernstein scores the highest marks ever given in Denmark, receiving a 10 for character and marks between 7 and 10 for gaits and potential. Bernstein sired the 2000 and 2002 Danish Foal Champion and competed at Prix St Georges level since 2003.

"Even though he is an outstanding sire, we purchased him due to his outstanding gaits and his incredible temperament," Muniz said. "His willingness to work and disposition to please are truly remarkable. He will be ready to do the Small Tour for 2005”

Bernstein was owned by Vivi and Morten Thomsen and Hanne and Kristian Olesen of Møgelholt Hingstecenter. Bernstein will now take up a stall at Las Marismas on the Dominican Republic.

On their shopping trip through Denmark, Yvonne Losos de Muniz and her husband Eduardo also purchased Ambassador, a 4-year old Abanos x Parademarsh gelding, and the 4-year old Dondolo, a Don Schufro x Romancier bred and owned by Blue Hors. "Both 4 year olds are extremely good movers and we have high hopes for them," Eduardo told Eurodressage.
