Wellington, FL – January 7 - The American Grand Prix Association today
released the official 2005 schedule of events for this year’s tour, the
nation’s richest and longest running series of equestrian show jumping
events.

In its twenty seventh year of equestrian excellence, the AGA tour
includes thirty two events in twenty two different equestrian markets and
offers over $2.5 million dollars in prize money.

When The American Grand Prix Association debuted in 1978 there were
sixteen events on a tour that stopped in eight different states. In 1978,
most individual events offered a total purse of only $25,000. For the
2005 season, the average prize money is over $75,000 per event.

The AGA Triple Crown features three of the nation’s premier events, The
American Gold Cup in Devon, Pennsylvania, The AGA National Championships
in Wellington, Florida and the Budweiser American Invitational at Raymond
James Stadium, in Tampa, Florida.

The 2005 AGA tour lifts off in Jacksonville, Florida, with the $35,000
Green Cove Springs Grand Prix-CSI* on Sunday, January 23, 2005 and
concludes in December, 2005 in Wellington, Florida with the AGA National
Championship CSI-3*.
