Sarantos, Pacific and Tampa win on the 1st day. 03-07-2005 12:34 am
ZWOLLE – At the international stallion show in Zwolle there were four competitions ridden for the stallions besides the ‘Best Stallion’. In the ‘Leading Stallions’ the win on the first day went to the AES approved Sarantos (by Emilion) ridden by Jur Vrieling. Wout Jan van der Schans was second on Sir Corland (by Corland) followed by Norway’s Morten Djupvik on Bessemeind’s Quasimodo Z (by Quidam de Revel).
Wout Jan van der Schans also did well in the ‘Promising Stallions’. He won with another son of Corland, Broere VDL Pacific, Jack Neefs was second with the Z stallion Blom’s Orient de L’Espace (by Tenor Manciais, third was Angelique Hoorn on Odin (by Jackson). Wim Schröder won the ‘Future Stallion’ competition with the fantastically jumping Eurocommerce Tampa (by Contender) who was approved by the KWPN last year. Three seconds slower, but also clear was Poland’s Lukasz Wasilewski on Cajero (by Caretino). Third place went to the Belgian Wim Vermier on Quickfire de Ferann (by Toulon).
