ERMELO – In the riding horse group, Umberto (Lux x Fedor) owned and bred by J. H. Waterink and co-owner W. J. M. Brinkman was sent through. This stallion was referred from the Autumn test in 2004. There were three older harness stallions presented and all three were invited to Ermelo. These were: the five year-old Triomfator (Larix x Renovo) bred by H. J. and H. L. M. Middelaar and owned by HBC Stable, the four year-old black Ulandro (Manno x Balmoral) bred by Gebr. Den Otter and owned by Gebr. Van Manen and A. Zekveld and the four year-old brown Urgent H (Waterman x Ureterp) bred by J. A. de Haas and owned by ‘Stalhouderij Meijer and G. Soepenberg. From the three year-olds only Veldheer (Immigrant x Waterman) bred by A. J. A. ter Heer was invited to go further. This black ‘ster’ stallion is in joint ownership of Marcel Ritsma’s American companions Clarke and Karen Vesty.
