ZWOLLE – The KWPN picked up two sashes in the first part of the second day at the ISS in Zwolle. Eric van der Vleuten rode Boeve’s Montreaux (Hinault x Calvados) to victory in the Promising Stallion competition followed by Wout Jan van der Schans on Broere VDL Pacific (Corland x Nimmerdor). Wim Schröder picked up the third prize with Eurocommerce Pennsylvania, the Oldenburger stallion Gambrinus x Pilot. All three jumped a double clear in the 1.30m. classic competition with jump off.
Marco Kutscher won the Best Stallion competition for Germany riding Humero Uno, the KWPN-er from Satl Hoorn in Ootmarsum. Van der Schans was second yet again, this time with Broere Maroon (by Contango). Marco Kutscher rode his Olympic horse Montender (Contender x Burggraaf) into third place. The winners from yesterday, Anne van Vulpen and Blauwendraad’s O’Brien had to settle for fourth. | |
