A super star line up of riders has been invited to compete at The Unex Masters 17th -20th November; providing entertainment and a thrilling sporting spectacle of dressage and show jumping. John, Robert and Ellen Whitaker, Tim Stockdale of Faking It fame, Ben Maher the current Hickstead Derby winner to name a few may all ride at this new international show.
Thursday 17th November starts with the fantastic display by Boyd Exell, international carriage driver and British champion with his four in hand carriage driving team. Boyd will explain the intricacy of world class carriage driving dressage. This will be followed by dressage to music from many of Britain and Europe’s dressage superstars. From the elegance and finesse of dressage; the Unex Masters will then entertain you with two speed jumping classes.
Friday 18th proves to have something for every one with national show jumping classes for Britain’s successful under 23’s and the young horse classes. The gala evening will have displays from “The Devils Horsemen, Essex Dog Display team and the show opening plus the class for mathematicians –The Accumulator. Saturday’s feature classes include Under 23 Top score and the Unex Masters with a prize fund of £5000. Entertainment will include the Geoff Billington Master Class and Saffron Walden’s award winning quadrille. The final day develops into serious jumping with a total prize fund of over £22,000 up for grabs.
Tickets are selling fast; the show looks to be great value entertainment for the whole family. There are eighty trade stands for the early Christmas shopper; ringside restaurants, bars and cafes throughout the Unex Towerlands complex. It certainly will be a weekend of fun.
