Bernadette Pujals and her stallion Vincent did win the Grand Prix de Dressage of CDI3* Mexico. Unfortunately Bernadette Pujals had to make the decision to retire in the Freestyle on Saturday because of problems with the tongue of her horse, coming over the bit. That left the victory to Jose Luis Padilla showing Lohengrin. Last summer Pujals and Vincent made a tour in Europe performing at Outdoor Gelderland in the Netherlands and at the CDI3* Falsterbo in Sweden. (photo by dressagedirect)
CDI*** Mexico also hosts junior classes
It was the first time mrs Victoria Wiley de Aparicio enthusiastically organised a CDI*** in Mexico. The help of chairman of the Dressage Committee Mariette Withages who not only was part of the judges but also willingly assisted at the secretariat was very much appreciated. Next to the small GP class, a lot of classes for children, Juniors and Young Riders were organised as well as classes at Prix St Georges level.
