Mayo's Cameron Hanley racked up his first win of the weekend at the horse show in Linz, Austria on Saturday.

The only Irish competitor at the two-star event, 32 year-old Hanley brought out his talented ten year-old grey mare Night Dancer for the two-phase class, which they won with slightly more than a half-second margin over Leichtenstein's Fidel Vogt, in runner-up position.

On Friday night Friday, Hanley scored a ninth place in the 1m45 competition at Linz with Hippica.

Meanwhile, Cameron Hanley recorded a fifth place in the big 1m45 class at Linz, Austria on Saturday afternoon following his earlier win in the 1m35 class at the two star venue.

The Mayo rider went clear on the 11 year old Hannoverian gelding Hippica Kerman, but none of theriders could catch the fast finish of Austrian winner Thomas Fruhmann, who ended up more than three seconds ahead of the field.

Hanley collected e 500 for his fifth place.
