| Seven stallions gained the approval of the judges from the Dutch KWPN at the Scottish Sport Horse grading day. One of them, Vision, achieved the top licensed status. This stunning Dutch-bred colt by Flemmingh out of a Ferro mare was bought by Caroline and Gordon Ironside of the Morayfirth Stud as a foal. The assessment of the graders was that he is a "well developed, modern type". They added that Vision has an excellent length of stride in trot and canter and that his jump shows scope and a good technique. "Licensed" is the highest level a stallion can achieve on his initial assessment. Vision will be looked at again after four years, when the judges can promote him to approved status. |
