The German judges love Amore 11-22-2005 5:14 pm
Former World Breeding champion DiMaggio has produced another graded son. His honours were added to when Don Amore, owned by Lynn and John Wickes, stood reserve champion at the British Warm-Blood Society grading.
The four-year-old Don Amore was bred by DiMaggio's owner and former rider Suzanne Davies. He was bought last year from Suzanne, who is also Lynn's trainer, to bring on for dressage.
Lynn's former advanced mare Baron S is now in-foal and this is the first stallion she has owned.
"I loved the way he moved and he has such a lovely temperament that I was determined to keep him entire," said Lynn.
Don Amore was described by judge Dr Haring as "a true sportsman with good basic gaits and very correct limbs, which are so important for longevity".
He will combine competition with stud duties from Suzanne's Hanoverian UK stud in Sussex.
