| Equine Breeding Values Using the data from the Young Horse Evaluations series, the preliminary findings of this research indicate that sex has shown to be a significant factor, with the highest scores being given to stallions. Date of evaluation was shown to be significant in some cases, yet heritability of the loose show jumping score is the only noticeably heritable characteristic established within the current data set.
