| Celebrating the best of British sports horse breeding in 2005, the British Breeding Breeders’ Awards are once again taking place at London’s Grange City Hotel. Set for Saturday 14th January, 2006, the evening is open to all and will be compered by renowned equestrian commentator, Mike Tucker. Breeders of top British horses will be presented with awards spanning eventing, show jumping and dressage. Additional awards include the Kuster BEF Top Groom Award, the Merial Meritoire for outstanding services to British breeding, and the SEIB retraining of racehorses awards. “The awards dinner is once again set to be a truly entertaining night,” says Supporters of British Breeding (SBB) Chairman, Desi Dillingham. “A packed evening starts with our drinks reception followed by a sumptuous meal, the awards ceremony and finishing with a disco.” “This is the SBB’s key fund raising night,” she adds. “Grange Hotels’ Frank Kuster is a great supporter of British breeding, and it’s thanks to his generosity that the awards evening has a setting befitting the importance of the occasion,” adds Ms Dillingham. Key sponsors are Merial Animal Health, Ponies Association (UK), South Essex Insurance Brokers, Sports Pony Stud Book Society and British Eventing.
