Home favourites The Philippines won the gold medal for team showjumping at the Manila SEA Games, finishing with a 13 fault total. Malaysia took the silver medal, finishing with 24 faults, and Thailand the bronze with 44 penalties. Singapore and Indonesia both failed to finish. ![]() In the second round, The Philippines team of Toni Leviste, Jones Lanza, Joker Arroyo and Mikee Cojuangco added only a rail to their 1st round score of 9 penalties. Joker came back to score a clear round. Jones added a 4 faulter, while Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski climbed back into the saddle to ride for her country again and scored a 4 faulter. With SEA World Cup Final winner Toni Leviste weighing in with a second clear round, Philippines could afford to drop one of the 4 faulters. Malaysia dropped back from the 1st round lead of 8 faults to finish comfortably in the silver medal position with Qabil adding on 4 faults with Camelias. Quzier had the only clear round of the second round for the Malaysian team. Syed Omar was eliminated again with Cora. It meant that Lea Tan's scores were counted in both rounds, including her 12 faulter with team reserve horse La Bonita. Thailand added 16 penalties to their 1st round score. Varat Ngowabunpat added 4 faults to his 1st round clear. Dhewin Manathanya added a 4-faulter to finish on 12 faults. Sirra Konglapamnuay and Amber did not have a good day, finishing the 2-rounder with 20 + 8 faults. Nagone Kamolsiri's 32 fault rounds on Late Black Sun was their dropped score in both rounds. Singapore's Alla Poloumieva, eliminated after falling in the first round, repeated the trick in the 2nd round. Nadia Chen, who had a clear in the 1st round, was eliminated in the 2nd for a fall and two refusals. Singapore started only 3 riders in the SEA Games and only Catherine Chew, on her brand new ride, AH Pikadeur, managed to get around. Three Indonesians, Budi Tulodo (Dark Mellow), Fesol Said Mubarok (Camial) and Andry Prastyono (Gonzo) were eliminated both rounds, leaving only former S'pore horse Cidoal de Genetre to make it around with 28 + 13 faults with Kurniadi Mustopo (Adi Katompo). The Individual Competition will take place this Sunday. Despite the top fifteen riders being eligible to qualify for the Individual Final, only twelve survived to make it. Toni Leviste leads the standings from Malaysia's Quzier Ambak. Thailand is the only country with four riders able to start the individual final. The Philippines and Malaysia each have three qualified, while Singapore and Indonesia have one each.
