In a wonderful atmosphere the Grand Prix at the Christmas Horseshow in London Olympia grew to a fantastic Dutch day with the first three places for the Dutch, Imke Schellekens-Bartels sharing the third position with her former riding master Finnish Kyra Kyrklund.
Imke Schellekens-Bartels rode a personal record score in Grand Prix and was delighted by the easiness of the performance of her mare. Especially the halfpasses in canter and the piaffe and passage were highlights. Anky van Grunsven and Keltec Salinero took over the lead with a test with an impressive first part. Her pupil Edward Gal and G4S Lingh missed the two tempi changes but came very near. Kyra Kyrklund as the last competitor did a wonderful job with Max as well, only having problems with the first piaffe. At the end the popular Finnish idol shared the third position with Imke Schellekens-Bartels and was happy with the Dutch.
