A test never has been won before the last competitor has finished! An unpleasant surprise waited for Anky van Grunsven when her winning stallion of the Grand Prix IPS Krack C suddenly turned his back to the judges and almost left the arena. Krack C was tensed and frightened and this gave way to elegant black stallion Gribaldi and Edward Gal to deserve the title ‘Best stallion’. The pair rode an ‘once in a lifetime’ Freestyle, with a lot of balance and harmony, without mistakes.
Marlies van Baalen and BMC Relevant also made the best out of the new glancing possibilities and became second best after Gribaldi and Gal. Duch teamchef Sjef Janssen announced that Marlies van Baalen and BMC Relevant have now deserved their place as members of the Dutch A-kader.
