BREAKING NEWS Texas A&M's Continuing & Professional Studies Office (CAPSO) and Dr. J. Warren Evans, Professor Emeritus of Equine Science and author of Horses: A Guide to Selection, Care and Enjoyment, are offering Horse Production & Management Certificate online. This online course is introductory to intermediate in nature. Thirteen intensive practitioner-based lessons provide participants with the biological basis for making decisions related to horse production management including how to: select a horse, set-up disease and parasite control programs, recognize lameness, and evaluate and formulate rations. Participants should have a general knowledge of and experience in riding and caring for horses. Completion of this online course can earn the participant continuing education credentialing from Texas A&M University.
