Former Worldchampion breaks upper arm
Through a tragic accident Rubels broke his upper arm this morning. In consultation with several veterinarians, Rubel’s owner Renata Landa had to decide to put him down. For two consecutive years, 2001 and 2002, Rubels was the convincing World-champion in the young dressage horses classes in Verden (Germany). This year at the KWPN stallion show the movement-specialist showed his excellent qualities again with his rider Hans Peter Minderhoud.
Riding Rubels and winning the World championships was for Hans Peter Minderhoud his break through in the dressage sport.
Rubels (1996) was bred by Henk Spekenbrink. Rubels is a son of Rafürstinels out of Klarinettels ster sport (dr) (Amethist x Ramiro x Joost).
