I have removed mare from fescue ,2 and half months now. She is maiden,last possible breeding date would have been aug 31 09, she has nice size bag with yellow colored fluid,that tests 400 no ph ,for 2 days in a row ,afternoon and evening testing times. She is at day 356,happy eating well ,content,relaxed around tailhead,lost muscous plug several weeks ago with more show last few days. Most uncomfortable between 1 am - 5 am .Lies down alot ,acts uncomfortable alot at night when she is out on small pasture,which coincidentally is lit with dusk to dawn lite so i can see her from inside the house.I only put her inside during the day because of the heat and horseflies.She is eating some alfalfa ,and 12 % fat grain.!/2 pond a day or less ,pasture ,mowed with no fescue,free acess to loose minerals ,which she eats some of ,everyday.Should I have a vet check ? or wait patiently.This was not a planned pregnancy ,or she would have had better care.I am a long time breeder who had gotten out of the business . She was bred by a 9 month old colt ,lol not mine !! As soon as i noticed she was prego ,i removed her from that pasture.\n");
